Blank Minecraft Server File

I've downloaded the java version as an alternative of simply the exe. file as I've seen others with the identical problem attempt to fix the difficulty this fashion. I am certain that the exports and imports for the IP address connections and have entered the 25565, and listed each TCP and UDP or whatever. I use the CT-5374 which is a Comtrend router. However the Minecraft server file; the stats, log and chat, and players all show up blank. However it doesn't listing it as a "java" or ".jar" or whatever after the file name. I am not sure what the problem is aside from it's having to deal with the blankness but I am bored with running into all of these problems. I've been troubleshooting for almost 3 straight hours and still cannot seem to quite repair it. I can be a part of onto my multiplayer server, however my pals can't, and I am unsure of what to do now. minecraft server lists
