Teenager is Arrested for Hoax to Bomb a Mass School

A teenage boy believed to be at the heart of a Minecraft gamers squabble was arrested following an attack on a massive bomb shut down hundreds of schools and colleges across the UK.



Hertfordshire police detained the 19-year-old following 24,000 threatening emails sent to schools were sent out warning of a bomb attack , and asking for cash.



The emails were faked to look as if they had been sent by a gaming network called VeltPvP. VeltPvP, which is a Minecraft player against-player server, is the same kind of service that businesses use to sell their products to gamers.



Following a massive hoax bomb that shut down schools in hundreds across the UK The teenager believed to be at the heart of an Minecraft gamers' dispute was detained by police from Hertfordshire. The 19-year old was arrested by Hertfordshire police after 24,000 emails were sent to schools warning them of an imminent attack



The emails were aimed at cause the domain to be suspended for abuse . They are believed to be from an organisation that was trying to undermine VeltPvP.



The National Crime Agency (NCA) has stated that there was no credible threat to the emails that were received this week.

They said in a statement that they understood teachers' and parents concern, but stress that there was no threat of serious consequence to the school's emails. Bro Mail One



"However, we take the information seriously. As this is a live investigation, we are unable to comment further.'



Following the bomb hoax emails the school was surrounded by signs Cardinal Road School in Feltham



The parties involved in the fight claimed that the rivals were involved in illegal activities in order to hinder one another's businesses.



"It's awful It's not the best thing,' one of hoaxers said when asked whether they regretted the impact the letters had had on the school students who were forced to leave.



The blame is being placed on VeltPvP, the hoaxer said VeltPvP was involved in a campaign of Direct Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, which he alleges were used to attempt to block other competitors' Minecraft servers.



Parents were asked to collect their children following the bomb hoax threat in the email



In an official statement, VeltPvP said: 'We've been being harassed by cybercriminals who are trying to intimidate us in any way possible.



'We're extremely sorry for everyone who has to go through this, but be aware that it's not real.'



The email was sent to more than 400 colleges and schools across the nation. It claimed that the bomb was already planted and that it could explode if the money wasn't provided.



Cardinal Road School in Feltham West London was one of the schools who received the hoax email



Police forces in London, Bristol, Liverpool, Bedfordshire and the the North East were among those investigating.



Parents have requested to be allowed to collect their children from school amid concerns over the emails.



Six schools in Hertfordshire were also affected: Abbots Hill, Valley School, Stevenage, The Sele School, Duncombe School, Stanborough School, Watford, St Albans High School and Valley School.
