WRUP The All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's time to expose a truth that a lot of MMO players don't yet realize: All DPS players are sharks. If you're wondering why many DPS are prone to the mantra of the holy "GOGOGO," it's because slowing down for just a minute means the players will be dead. They must keep killing and swimming. This is what MMOs do to sharks. Don't think about how a shark is able to type or play the game. Just know that a rogue who will not wait for the tank, the healer, or even the other DPS can't avoid doing what they do. He's a shark.

One of the Massively staff could be a shark, but I'm unable to confirm or claim it. Maybe he or she announces his or his or her status as sharks in this week's WRUP or maybe it's just our usual summary of our weekend plans like we do every week. We won't know until you've read the following section. However you can inform us by commenting below what you're doing.

@Beau_Hindman - I'm definitely playing more State of Decay. It is a fantastic single-player game, and is definitely one of my favorite games. I'm currently playing MMORPGs. I'll be playing the latest patch of DC Universe Online and getting some action in Neverwinter. I believe that Neverwinter to be among the most beautiful and beautiful-sounding MMOs.

@nbrianna: I went back to World of Warcraft with a bunch of guildies, so I'll be leveling up some old toons as well as exploring some Pandaria Dungeons I've never explored. It's sure to be fun!

@Eliot_Lefebvre - World of Warcraft is currently my side game slot. While there are some aspects that I am still not happy with, it's a game I am enjoying. Beyond that, there's bound to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to play and various endgame events to take part in, so that's my main focus.

@Sypster - I don't have any big plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the pre-launch countdown mode for Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'll likely try some additional scenarios in The Secret World, and maybe even play some of the World of Warcraft stuff the kids love these days.

@mvmatt: My weekend plans include schoolwork, soup and in the event of luck -- some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself why it was canceled and to reflect on the amazing things that almost kept it going until the servers shut down next month. Beyond that, I would love to play Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. I have been neglecting these games for quite a while. Perhaps, just maybe, I could stop some fools on Battlefield 4. Blog

@MikedotFoster - This weekend, I'll be checking out the Three Spirits Dota 2 Update. I'll also get playing World of Warcraft; that Warlords of Draenor announcement has me riled again. Servers Pnp89's blog

@MJ_Guthrie: I'm going to spend the majority of my gaming time (and I'll be playing no matter what it is!) trying to get more done in the fight against Filth in The Secret World. I am a sucker for that pet and that bee suit so badly and even though I don't think there is any way I can get enough tokens, I am going to try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When I'm not working, I'll be playing a handful of scenarios and experimenting with new builds. I will also be trying out different races to become my new Channeler in EverQuest II. I have it narrowed down to Ratonga and Kerra. Once I get that, I'll only need about 30 more hours to customize the looks. The name is just the beginning.

@RichieProcopio – This weekend I'll be intoxicated. No, I'm not going on a frat party. I'll be visiting the Tower of Nightmares in Guild Wars 2 to see what Scarlet and her new serpentine friends have been up to in Kessex Hills. Oh and Hearthstone!

Every weekend, we gather with Massively staff members to ask them "What are your most loved games?" (Otherwise known as WRUP!) Join us for our game-related activities. You can also catch us in the comments section to share your gaming experiences with us.
