I found this scrap of red trim (shown in photo) and I saw that I had enough to make a 5 petaled flower. I had to hand sew it very carefully to make the red arches look like flower pedals. Then, I used a hot glue gun to add the center clear bead, and followed by gluing some shiny red beads in a star pattern (covering up my kind of messy, hand-sewn seams). I then hot glued a strip of red ribbon to the headband and glued on the flower. This wound up being one of Hannah's favorites.
First up is the HoMedics AntiGravity massage recliner chair. The company prattles on about NASA astronauts and so forth in its advertising, but what is basically meant by the term 'antigravity', is that when fully reclined your feet are slightly above your head. https://incatalogue.red has been shown to help improve circulation and most find it a quite relaxing position to be in. There are four models to choose from, the AG-2101, AG-3000, AG-3001 and AG-3000. The AG-2101 is the cheapest. It comes with ten motors and produces a vibrating massage. There are 8 programs to select from - none of which I found to be very inspiring - and 3 speeds. I don't rate the massage but I like that the chair comes with heat in the lower lumbar region. I also its overall styling; sleek and contemporary.
If you are looking for a gift for an office coworker, or simply for anyone working in an office, the Sun Mate Pen Holder LCD Clock is a nice choice, and it won't empty your wallet.
When it comes to a perfect guest book, nothing can look as dignified as a hard bound leather book with good finish. Its ivory laid paper can itself make filling it up, a pleasurable experience.
If you're looking for simple style that will go with a lot of purses or outfits, take a look at the Taupe Dragonfly Transfer Bag. Four elastic pockets give you plenty of room to carry your cell phone, money or your credit card case. A key loop inside will keep your keys where you can find them without having to dig. This organizer is covered in taupe satin with graceful dragonflies embossing the fabric. There is even a cosmetic bag with a pretty rhinestone zipper pull that will hold everything you need to keep yourself looking beautiful.
I took a long piece of green ribbon and folded it twice so that each end piece met and overlapped in the middle. As you can see in the photo, the green bow took up almost half of the headband. Then, I cut a smaller piece of green ribbon--just enough to wrap around the bow, to make the center. I hot glued them together in the back. Next, I wrapped the headband with floral wire just enough to cover the headband where I wanted the bow to rest, off to one side. Next, I added hot glue on top of the headband and floral wire where I wanted the center of the bow to rest. Then I hot glued down each underside of the bow.
I did not purchase anything but a set of 4 plastic, Walmart headbands--deciding to only use whatever materials I had in my craft supplies. Once I got home, I was pleasantly surprised with what I had to work with: a hot glue gun with glue sticks, 2 scrap pieces of black material, black and purple beads, red decorative trim, ribbons, floral wire and pliers, needle and thread, and of course, my creative energy!
