When planning for your vacation, decide on a date when both of you are free. It can even be a special date such as the birthday of your partner or your wedding anniversary.

Get out of the house and go for a walk in the sunshine and fresh air. Your body will produce its own natural happy chemicals and make you feel better about your day. The time you spend out in the quiet could be what you needed to counteract the stressful situations you are trying to avoid.

In my travel briefcase, I keep a plastic storage bag containing 3-4 flipchart markers, cough drops, tissue and masking tape (to mark off back rows of training rooms). I also keep an extra battery for my presentation remote. These items are always where I need them when I need them.




If you're like me, you adopted the mindset of your parents (we're not blaming our parents, because they got it from their mothers and fathers!) and the institutions of education and faith that supported a fear-based and shame-based mindset. To control large groups of people, leading by shame and fear is absolutely necessary. It's so much a part of our society that most of us have some serious unlearning to do!

The third tip is to make sure that the child as well as the parent will like it. Look for something like a Book. You can easily spot toddler books because they are usually made from cardboard and are colorful.

If you are looking to remember a long number or sequence, the easiest way to boost your mind and your chances of remembering is to identify patterns. Once you can identify the pattern in the number or sequence, you will be able to recall and rehash the information when need be.

Gradually reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke per day. This way you will not feel the drastic symptoms of nicotine withdrawal and will remain motivated.
